Overview: 

Get introduced to User Stories with this one-hour mini course. User Stories have traditionally been limited to Agile / Scrum projects yet they are useful across project types. Understand how User Stories differ from traditional requirements and how they will help you understand and communicate with users.  Learn how User Stories are the building blocks of the Product Backlog, a prioritized list of system features with requirements. This mini course is for you whether you are the Product Owner on a Scrum project or a Business Analysis looking to find new ways to collect and document requirements.

Objectives:

Attendees will be able to:

  • Write a User Story

  • Define acceptance criteria

  • To build a prioritized product backlog
